The International Conference 20 Years of SUGRA and Search for SUSY and Unification (SUGRA20)

An international conference on 20 Years of SUGRA and Search for SUSY and Unification will be held at Northeastern University, Boston, March 17-20, 2003. The conference will assess the progress since the discovery of SUGRA unified models in 1982. However, the purpose of the conference is not history but a critical assessment of the progress towards search for supersymmetry and unification beyond the standard model. Specifically it is expected that there will be several sessions devoted to model building based on strings and branes. A commemorative volume of the proceedings of the conference will be published.

The following areas are planned to be covered at the conference:

  • SUGRA Unification
  • Other Mechanisms of SUSY Breaking
  • Search for SUSY at Colliders
  • Search for Higgs at Colliders
  • Search for Dark Matter
  • Flavor problem and CP Violation
  • Superunification, Proton Stability
  • Quark & Lepton Textures
  • String Theory and M-Theory
  • Recent Developments in String Models
  • Extra Dimensions and Branes
  • String and Brane Cosmology
  • Future Directions.

The proceedings of the conference will be published. The registration fee for the conference is $300 if paid before March 1, 2003, $350 thereafter. The fee will include the reception on Monday, March 17, refreshments during coffee breaks, the conference banquet on March 19 and a copy of the conference proceedings. In addition to the invited talks there will be a number of contributed talks for which abstracts can be submitted via email at sugra20@neu.edu or through the registration web page. Papers for all the talks given at the conference will be included in the proceedings.
